Rival Kingdoms: Ruination App Reviews

Since recent update game crashes so often that you cant even play it in an iPad. Been playing over a year and this update has wrecked it more than any other and not for just me. To fix this they need to halt the updating communications while user is playing in battle and not count a battle stone till the battle is over. Even the battle stone graphic looks terrible since update. Sad that their development team and QOS have lost touch with the players that have played a very long time and may not be using the latest hardware. Want a good game? Play anything else till this gets corrected - if they even care, since most only care when it hits and hurts their revenue stream!

Excellent game but be prepared to pay big bucks if you want to REALLY participate in their numerous events. The average player who only wants to spend a bit or the player who wants to play for free, will be disappointed in their inability to fully enjoy the game. Saying that, it should be realized that this IS a business and the purpose is to make money.

This game is very fun. Its one of my two primary games. Ive given up playing many other games because I really just enjoy this game that much. League play is actually rewarding. It pays to be in an active league and there are many active leagues. Competition is really good also.

Customer Support isnt very good. I was without an in-game function (Alchemy Workshop) for over a week. This has a significant impact on gameplay, especially during events. They finally fixed the function, but wont do anything to compensate me for being without a game function for well over a week. Id look for a different game, different company.

Awesome!!! You will not regret downloading game! The game is different with every raid so it makes it a challenge. Addictive and you get to meet many players from around the globe. El juego es fantástico! Viva Space Ape! Also you must know it is more of an adult game. You also have to spend money. Real money! Lots of money! In the end I still love the game!

This is a very competitive game I appreciate the value these game developers put into the game. Definitely worth downloading

Very good and addictive game. Much faster pace than other similar games. There are heroes involved make the game more dynamic. Highly recommend! It will cause you money if you want to develop fast.

The Developer continues to implement rather erroneous, sometimes criminal like business practices. They can be entirely obtuse and unfair. Players are leaving this game. Core gameplay is decent with above average graphics. Likely a top 5% expensive app. Likely to spend over 100 USD per weekly event. Have to spend to compete. Developer Nerfs Units and ignores many bugs. Players do not get anywhere near fair compensation when developer makes mistakes or falsely advertises. Unfortunately, the weekly events are becoming more and more disastrous with bugs and no QC testing. Players buy bundles for events and the events are broken. The developer does not refund money. Apple should be aware and look into the developers practice as it appears corrupt. Many long time players frustration is causing them to leave. New players are at an extreme disadvantage and will likely never reach existing maxed out players status due to in game changes. ***Please be aware that this game does at times implement a form of gambling that involve real currency***

Great game with awesome graphics. Would like more info on how to operate the kingdoms once you join them. Slow start to build up troops but ok. Need more info on ancients and how to upgrade them.

Im saving my money for an attorney to take legal action against Space Ape. They took close to $2,000 of my money and then changed the rules to make the game impossible to win. Nearly every event is pay to win and if you dont win youll be waiting nearly a year before youll have access to that content for free. Currently you can advance to the SH14-15 area then youll be matched against only maxed players and either have to quit, or pay $425 to get your SH to 16. The company is run by incompetent buffoons.

Maybe the worse game Ive ever played with every update it gets worse then before. Many bugs in the game. Cant win a battle in there arena area because always 3 level higher are my choices. If you dont plan on spending big dollars stay away. And the packs they have are bad. Before you start pass by this game find any other game it be better then this one

The social aspect makes it feel like actually being part of a team. Finding a good kingdom and investing in it - in the relationships - is the key.

I play Rival Kingdoms, Boom Beach, and CoC on two separate devices - six games running at once. Ive read the negative reviews, "greedy", criminal, fraudulent, et al. I dont share that opinion. If these folks want a game that can be played for a buck a month, Id suggest the develop and market their own game. Thats what Id call a ministry. I started playing kingdoms about a year ago, not long after it was released. Comparing Kingdoms, Beach, and Clans is like comparing apples to tomatoes to bananas. All good, just different. One can spend money on all or none of these games. The fun is in the competition at any level. If folks insist on being number 1 in the world, knock yourself out. Trust me, they wont mention that in your eulogy. Get a life!

Utterly ridiculous and haphazard development and business practices. Twitch tv shows silly kids that can not play their own game. Underpaid Staff makes contradictory efforts. Game itself is beautiful but stale ingame purchases, constant untested updates, calamity of glitches and bugs. Just a horrible experience from a company that is gaining a top spot for bad reputation and untrustworthiness

WAY too much power has been given to flair towers in this update. Players with a mithril charged enhanced fair tower have too much of an advantage at the start and using spells just makes it that much worse. It is exceptionally difficult to take out a SH16 without the big bad voodoo of the ancients and with this new update, just one charge from a flair tower renders all buffs null and void. Flair towers have become a real problem, just another Shock Tower but with range and speed. Im not pleased with the Mana Hawk nerf but I do understand that it was necessary for bringing a troop balance back to the game. I can live with it but the flair tower update really needs to be reworked. With the raider troops, Im honestly not seeing any beneficial changes. They are still seen as a useless troop by the majority of the players and I rarely ever see them used except as a troop boost. Often for event point bonus if anything. Thats the majority of what I have to say about this update. Personal Suggestion - Can it be possible to look into giving mages a range increase? Doesnt have to be much but just enough to where they dont have to be right up close and personal with their target as if they were a soldier. Mages are an outstanding troop with unrecognized potential for its their range that is turning them off to players. Players often only use Wardens for their troop number and range. Personally, I see this as a millstone for such an advanced troop. Their lack in range namely.

This is the best game out there for long term gaming. Updates are regular, which is where Total Conquest fell flat (took our money and ran) by ending updates and support.
