Probly the best game of this genre I have played. Battles are short and sweet. Plenty to learn and do. Some tactics that are helpful although I wish there were more tactics to employ. An active community that is very helpful. I seldom even review games let alone give 5 stars but this game surely deserves it.

Originally, Rival kingdoms was a 4 or 5 star game that was a nice take on the genre, with good playability and graphics. However, subsequent updates have randomly changed the abilities of almost every unit, meaning that any chance of planning a build or play strategy is even less possible than before. Dragons now have the strength of geckos. If you like to grind or pay to win then youll love the game; otherwise, dont bother and play Clash of Lords II instead - its a far superior game.

And they are always working to improve it.

Maybe the worse game Ive ever played with every update it gets worse then before. It a completely offense of game. No reason to build defense as nothing works. The Arena area is terrible I got attack 187 times in 1 day losing every battle. Even that I could not attack because I was under the honor level to enter the arena but still got attacked from there shield or not they let Arena players attack. They wont release my email address so dont play pass this game find a better one

You dont need to wait for your troops to rebuild, you simply crack 5 stones for continuous gameplay. You dont have to wait for your war troops to finish destroying a base...simply hold down the fast forward button to move onto the next war. You have several challenges to choose from: daily campaign challenges, individual tournaments, the arena, multiplayer, various trials and kingdom wars. There are rewards for just about every battle won. Join a kingdom and help increase its fame...this game caters to the serious gamer. Id invite you to join my kingdom, but we are full. 6 months ago I wrote: "All out addictive!! My wife & daughter hate this game & theyve never played it. Why, you ask? Because Im on the game all the time. Period. They just dont understand..." 5-star game!! NO LONGER!! Apes decision to give into those who require an Epic Victory every time they attack to feel good about themselves is killing this game. Its continued strengthening of offenses and making it so incredibly expensive for almost ZERO strategic defensive support is killing the fun of this FORMER 5 STAR GAME. 4 Stars... Why build walls - at the cost of literally 100s of millions of gold; or upgrade defensive weapons - at literally 10s of millions and weeks of waiting on upgrades to bake?? Each update just makes offensives stronger & defenses harder to build!! 3 Stars... Stay this madness & give those of us who dont require a victory every time they attack a decent game to play again!!! Soon to be a 2-star game...

Pros: This game is very fun. Its one of my two primary games. Ive given up playing many other games because I really just enjoy this game that much. League play is actually rewarding. It pays to be in an active league and there are many active leagues. Competition is really good also.

Love it! If you have ever had a game addiction walk away! This game is almost as addictive as World of Warcraft. So much fun!

This is Clash of Clans with one major exception, it prevents you from playing the game. You read that right, you are given 5 attacks, after which you must wait 19 min per attack before you can attack!! So, you have to stop playing and find another game for 5X19min before you can play 5 more attacks. This is about as dumb as you can get! I would guess my mother wrote this restriction into the game so I wouldnt play so much. My advice, unless you can only play for 5 attacks at a time, stick with Clash of Clans, and play as much as you want. I am changing my rating to one star, if I could give it zero, I would. I am raiding getting a whole 27,000 of gold, to return to my base and see I was raided when I was out raiding for 110,000 gold. The game is rigged to force you to loose and you need to pay real money to buy gems to be able to upgrade anything. Stay away unless you have a ton of money to drop in this game. But be happy, they offer adds about 3 times a day for you to purchase the gems with other useless goodies. The developer has made this game as a money making machine and not a game. Stay away and you will be many dollars ahead. UPDATE the adds to sell you more stuff is hitting an all time high. At least 3 adds a day, and they put the screen buttons in places on the screen, and so large, that you cant help but accidentally push the BUY button durning a play. These guys are out for you money. Stay away. Update 2 Developers are getting more greedy. More adds to purchase there gems, and adds to play other games just like this one. I keep trying to give this one a go, but I am at SH10, and stuck. This is because you need 5,000 rings to upgrade to lv11, but I only have 453. To get more rings, I need to get on Facebook, and other social media and advertise for this game to get the rings, or pay real money. Talk about a scam!!?, Update 3, I thought I would give a third chance, was a waste. Example, I leave the game with 634k gold. Come back next day, was raided. Lost 113k, given two adds, and an option to buy gems with real money. Click on history to see my defense and how it did during the night. When don watching, hot return, to be presented with a banner saying I was just raided, again, while logged on watching my base get raided. I was again presented with an add to purchase gems, and then a button to rate the game. Finally a button worthy of pushing At least in Clash of Clans there are not adds in your face and you cant be raided while you are on line. After three trys, this is still a disappointment in games.
