ILoVe thiS game...
Fantastico
Bellissimo gioco....vorremmo Malice più facile da ottenere :)))))
I have enjoyed this game it is a nice mix of tower defense and strategy in an online rpg. What i like about it is you can pick it up and play for a little while and resume at a later time without needing to play nonstop. I also like that it seems you can play the game effectively even without spending real money.
Awesome game. And nice art work but the problem is only rings. It takes too many rings to upgrade.
Way better then all the others. Great game.... Addictive!!!
This is an okay game. Takes too long to gather gold and upgrade troops. Also, a lot of items, and things to do which are not explained. Not A very well educated game for the player. Can be difficult to figure out how to do different things. Simpler would be better.
Love the game however, collecting rings and upgrading takes forever. Frustrating at times.
Engaging, fun, and bug free, for the most part.
Like this game great graphics easy game play solo quests
I really love this one! Developers keep trying to make it interesting by changing things up and evening it all out. Like all free to play games, you will "perform" better by paying, but its really not necessary to enjoy this game. And customer service is SUPER responsive. Thanks.
Great RTS fun!
Used to be fun to play. Now its laboring. No fun Im SH14, when I reach SH15, next year, youll make SH17 and on and on with the same crap! Ill definitely quit playing when SH17 appears. Just like most of my friends have that were SH15! They got tired of your greed and quit. Its 7/2016 and as I predicted SH17. :( Ill probably quit soon and tell my friends dont bother! Enjoy your money. Your real fan base isnt enjoying anything!
*They drift further and further away from anything that is entertaining and seem baffled by the loss of players that used to spend a lot of money. They send out surveys and then twist the results to say what they want to hear and implement ridiculous update that just alienate more new players. The most horribly run company that I have dealt with. Now I am F2P and I laugh at each comical mess they make. There is nothing here that would make it so a new player would want to continue playing after 2 days. Suggestion would be to hire some Korean game developers to get your act together. Doubt you can afford them though by looking at your app store ratings on your games and knowing how much you pay your remote CS reps. Arrogant and lacking forethought is a bad combination. Give up the box seats at the football games and pay twice as much attention to your competitors instead of listening to the whining of your last remaining 100 players that are still paying to play. *When watching videos for free ingame currency takes longer than the amount of gameplay you receive there is a BIG problem with the game. *beautiful but overall boring game. Complete lack of ability to customize other than base design which is useless even with max defense. After the beginning stages, no quests no contests, nothing to do unless you are constantly buying stones to attack with. Very little skill involved in attacking leaving the only challenge being trying to use crappy ancients for attacks. Silly silly. Review from hahaha "VIP" player. Utterly ridiculous and haphazard development and business practices. Twitch tv shows silly kids that can not play their own game. Underpaid Staff makes contradictory efforts. Game itself is beautiful but stale ingame purchases, constant untested updates, calamity of glitches and bugs. Just a horrible experience from a company that is gaining a top spot for bad reputation and untrustworthiness
Space Ape got this one right. Been playing over a year now and enjoying my Kingdom and the game-play. I dont spend RL money and am competitive due to fair algorithms, etc. Great job, SA!
Addictive fun game, allot more going on than clash of clans
Good time passer but hard to make an undefeated base.
I am writing this from the perspective of a serious gamer. I was one of the leaders in the strongest team in this game (at the time of my departure) so this review comes from the perspective of a hard core player so it may not apply to all. Rival kingdoms began as a very good game. Even with a long beta that gave early players an advantage for a while, with many levels to climb and lots to do, players kept busy as they grew their kingdoms. And there were lots of kingdoms. But as the bulk of players started to catch up to similar levels, the game took a drastic turn. In the first 4 months players were allowed to climb in stronghold level from 1-14. In the past 8 we were allowed to climb two. Yes. Two. Because there was so little forward momentum, players converged.. And big teams took over the game. Smaller kingdoms had a very difficult time keeping a foothold in the game. Because of the slow development of defense, both offense and defense had to constantly be retuned as players were basically playing the SAME content over and over and after a while, a good player can beat anything. Adding to this leveling, or lack of leveling issue, the developers took to including events every single solitary weekend, which REQUIRED competitive players to stay strapped to their devices for long three day weekends, competing in events that were grueling, exhausting and had well known cheats built in (like purposely dropping player score until they were getting noob strongholds to compete against this. This well known strategy was known as 8-1-8.) There was literally NO way to do these events without either paying money.. Real money.. Or giving up all weekend free time. Usually both. Competition became a joke within the game. The kingdom wars were seriously unbalanced. My kingdom which had only maxed 16 players frequently ran roughshod over kingdoms with strongholds as low as SH8. It was not fun for us.. It was not fun for them. The developers tried to fix this by introducing Relic Wars.. A much more difficult event (to their credit) by forcing players to choose a different ancient for every attack. The relics were supposed to have attack and defensive bonuses that would stay with the kingdoms until challenged and beaten. Unfortunately, true to RK developers track history, at the last moment, the developers removed the bonus, leaving only a pixilated tin monument as"reward" for giving all of our team players serious indigestion every day for weeks at a time. As a leader of a powerful kingdom, I got to a point where I spent all my time trying to retain players from rage quitting or leaving, constantly moving about looking for more of a challenge (it doesnt exist) or consoling them about the many unfair and unbalanced rules that had taken over the game. It just was NOT FUN anymore. So, after some soul searching, I said goodbye to my beloved kingdom, unloaded the game, and have regained my weekends. I miss the Rival Kingdoms that was. The balanced interesting game it started out to be, but I do not miss the stale, money hungry beast it had become, and based on Space Apes track record (Samurai Siege) I will not be investing in anymore of their games.
First off, I have played this game since the very first release and it has always been good. Not P2W. You can easily play and work your way up normally. Yes, there are areas where there are time limits on battles i.e. Battle stones. Nothing game breaking. The game offers solo pvp, guild pvp, an alchemy building that lets you forge items together to be more powerful, and mini quest lines. Compared to KoK, CoC, Star Wars commander etc...this game is great. End opinion: Game is fun, addicting and incorporates good ideas in a phone game but takes time like all games. Try it and see. Its free!
